PK Alliance member BNE Productions hit a major milestone at Nocturnal Wonderland 2023, outfitting all three of the storied Insomniac festival's stages with PK Sound Trinity Black and T10 robotic systems.
Artists including Black Tiger Sex Machine, AC Slater, Claude VonStroke, Seven Lions, Alison Wonderland, Dombresky, and Subtronics performed over systems that included 32 Trinity Black mains apiece on the Wolves' Den and Labyrinth stages, each with T10 out- and front-fills and a 36-box T218 sub wall.
A full-festival takeover is the ultimate test of coverage discipline: three high-output stages operating simultaneously on one site, each needing maximum impact for its own crowd and minimum presence on its neighbours'.
PK's patented Multi-Axis Robotics made the puzzle solvable in software. With remote, real-time mechanical control of each module's vertical and horizontal dispersion, the BNE team shaped every array's soundfield to its own audience area – delivering the punishing low end the festival's fans expect while keeping the stages out of each other's mixes.
North America's longest-running dance music festival thus became an all-PK affair – a milestone BNE would repeat across Insomniac properties including Dreamstate SoCal, Countdown NYE, and Apocalypse: Zombieland, cementing the multi-stage festival takeover as a signature of the partnership.
