PK Sound Anchors Five Stages at Shambhala Music Festival 2026

PK Sound robotic line source systems anchored five of the six unique stages at the 2026 edition of Shambhala Music Festival, continuing one of the longest-running and most celebrated partnerships in bass music.

Held each summer at the Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Shambhala has long been regarded as a global benchmark for festival sound – and PK's presence on The Farm has grown year over year, with PK systems covering five of six stages in both 2025 and 2026.

At the heart of it all is The Village, the stage where the PK partnership began. This year's Village system, deployed by Calgary's DS Productions, comprised 13 T10 robotic line source modules per side as mains, 27 T218 intelligent subwoofers, 22 T8 compact robotic modules as fills and delays, four Tx14 intelligent point source modules, and four T18 subwoofers.

Featuring PK Sound's patented Multi-Axis Robotics, the T10 and T8 systems enable precise remote and real-time mechanical control of both vertical and horizontal coverage. On a site like Shambhala's – six distinct stages nestled into a working ranch and forest – that control is essential, delivering the undiluted impact of each performance to its audience while minimizing bleed between stages.

The 2026 edition extends a run that has seen PK Alliance partners including DS Productions, Gearforce, and Hi, Society Entertainment collaborate on Shambhala deployments, with the festival's famously discerning bass music fans as the ultimate judges.

PK Sound's history with Shambhala's Village Stage stretches back more than a decade – a story of two Western Canadian institutions growing together, one sold-out summer at a time.
