PK Alliance member BNE Productions went hard at Hard Summer 2023, deploying PK Sound robotic systems across two Los Angeles stadiums – the LA Memorial Coliseum and BMO Stadium – to anchor performances by Kid Cudi, Yellow Claw, Flosstradamus, Bicep, Peekaboo, Oliver Tree, and more.
The Green Stage at the historic Coliseum carried 28 Trinity Black robotic modules per side as mains, 12 Trinity Black delays, 12 T10 outfills, a 33-box cardioid T218 sub wall, and a full complement of front fills and monitors. Across town at BMO Stadium, the Purple Stage matched the scale with its own 28-per-side Trinity Black main hangs and supporting arrays.
Running festival-grade electronic music production in two open stadiums simultaneously – in the middle of Los Angeles – is as much a logistics and containment problem as an acoustic one. PK's patented Multi-Axis Robotics gave the BNE team remote, real-time mechanical control of every array's coverage, focusing energy on the crowds and away from the surrounding neighbourhoods.
The twin deployments capped a summer that established BNE Productions as one of the busiest large-format PK operators in North America, with the Southern California company's Trinity Black inventory moving between Insomniac festivals, stadium takeovers, and arena headline shows week after week.
